Mentoring 2019: Alumni, it's time to volunteer!

As every year, graduates from Rennes School of Business are invited to "mentor" last-year student(s) interested in their jobs and/or activity sector.

 

Mentor role (regarding the student) : 

  • measure professional project coherence
  • assess the job hunt strategyploi
  • share his experience and job / sector knowledge
  • give advices during first job quest and first days in their position

 

Mentoring calendar 2019  :  

  • January - February 2019 : students will choose their mentors among
  • January - March 2019 : 1st interview with the student (face to face, phone or skype)
    • assessment of the professional project and job hunt strategy
    • share experience with the student, give some advice
  • Before 31st December 2019 : follow-up interview / report of the first months of support

 

Practical Information: 

  • Requirement to become a "mentor" : justifiy at least 3 years of professional experience
  • Assessment : mentoring used to be compulsory and marked. It is now proposed as a Career service available for last-year students (voluntary approach). The roadbook and assessment form will be used only as tools to lead the interviews and give a feed-back to student. 
  • Registration process : access to your personal area and fill-in the mentoring form (available only for people who graduate more than 3 years ago).
